Your bank connection
Accounts connect through Open Banking, the European standard regulated by the PSD2 directive.
An authorized, certified provider
Connections go through Enable Banking, an account information service provider authorized under the European PSD2 directive and supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA). It is also ISO/IEC 27001 certified, the international standard for information security.
You authorize with your bank
You give consent directly on your bank's systems: Dispendo never knows, never receives and never stores your banking credentials.
Read-only
Dispendo reads the authorized transactions to categorize them. The connection cannot initiate payments or move money.
Revoke anytime
You can disconnect an account at any moment, from the app or from your bank.

Every account is kept apart from the others: only you can see your data.
Only you see your data
Every account is kept separate right in the database: no other user can see or change your transactions.
No keys on your phone
The technical keys used to talk to your bank and to categorization services stay protected on our servers. There's nothing to steal in the app, even if someone takes it apart.
Imports read on your phone
When you import a CSV or Excel file, it's read on your device. The original document is never uploaded or stored: only the transactions you confirm are kept.
What reaches the AI
Only transactions we can't recognize otherwise, and only in reduced form.
Minimized data
Before sending an unresolved case to AI, we remove IBANs, contact details, tax identifiers and people's names from the transaction description. We don't send your user identifier or your balance.
Only the fields needed
The service receives only the fields it needs, such as normalized merchant, direction, amount and currency, and relevant technical signals. See the Privacy Notice for details and exceptions.
You stay in control
It's your data: you can correct it, take it with you or delete it.
Correct anytime
Every category can be changed, and your choice takes priority over automatic suggestions.
Export everything
Download your full history as CSV, Excel or JSON right from the app.
Delete your account
You can delete your account from the app. What is deleted and when is described in the Privacy Notice.
